Hilary Deckard

Hilary Deckard, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
She looks forward to discovering strengths that already live in you and building on your inherent capacity for growth regardless of your age and life stage! She has a non-directive approach and enjoys exploring who you are and how you experience the world. Your needs and goals guide the process together.
She likes to support deeper internal connections through developmentally sensitive work with emotions, identity, and values. These ways of working together can help heal internal conflicts, emotional disconnection, and trauma, leading to more personal wholeness and satisfaction with life. I use cognitive behavioral approaches that offer clear, concrete tools to manage daily stressors through a myriad of strategies, some of which strengthen things like self-soothing and more flexible thinking.
She has extensive experience providing therapy to kids, pre-teens, teens, young adults, and adults individually, in family therapy, and group therapy. She treats people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), symptoms/challenges of Neurodivergence, life transitions, and parenting stress.
She also has experience and training providing evidence-based care like Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and crisis intervention using Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS).
