When working with couples, Emily primarily employs Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) to help couples interrupt the negative cycles of conflict, communicate more clearly, and restore intimacy.
Emily has completed an externship in Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), the Level 1 training in the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) and Specialized Perinatal Training. Before becoming a therapist, Emily spent 10 years working as a lawyer.
